Consistent, slick, juicy.Having pioneered a new winemaking region in British Columbia, Fort Berens estate is in Lillooet, in the Fraser Canyon. Wines are made from their own vineyards, but are sometimes blended with Okanagan Valley fruit.
The Gris is consistently well handled the 2021 suggests lime and green pears, star fruit and hay, mountain stream and wite flowers. The palate is citrus-driven with plenty of crunchy white and yellow tree fruit flavours. It has a slick mouthfeel and some phenolic texture on the finish.
Pair: chicken salad, mushroom dishes and oily fish dishes.
